After researching the subject matter I've come to the conclusion that LKJ is basically a game of perception with willing participants on both sides. The founder of I Chuan did not devise LKJ but rather it was one of his senior students Professor Peng Si Yu who used it as a tool to increase the sensitivity of his students rather than as some mystical force to knock over opponents from a distance.
